Diane Barr founded Rose D'Zynes in 1985. With 50 years
experience in sewing, and 20 years experience in historic design,
Diane Barr, has become a specialist in theme wedding attire. Rose
D'Zynes has been featured on cover of North County Magazine, Lady's
Gallery, Sacramento Bride, and Philadelphia Bride, and been
mentioned in articles; Here Comes the Bride, Theme Weddings, Lady's
Gallery - C Sewing, Appeared on Showtime, Disc - Wedding Story. As
a designer for 18th Century historical theater, Diane Barr has
designed attire for plays including; Pollyanna, Comedy of Errors,
Sound of Music, Mornings at Seven, Oklahoma, Wizard of Oz, Pirates
of Penzance, Huckleberry Finn, and Jekle and Hyde the Musical as
well as designed Italian Renaissance themed attire for a 6th grade
class of 25 students. Rose D'Zynes has received an award for "Best
Historical reproduction" by the Washington State Centennial in
1989.
